Nicola Gunter

Bee Ambassador

Hi – I’m Nicola! I strive to connect people to plants and pollinators in a variety of ways. I am the Founder and Program Director of a social enterprise called goodworm. I’m very excited to be a Bee Ambassador! I’m passionate about nature education and have over 20 years experience working with children and youth.
I live in the Aspen Parkland bioregion and Treaty 6 territory, specifically, in the homelands of diverse Indigenous Nations including the Cree, Blackfoot, Nakoda Sioux, Tsuut’ina, Dene, the Metis and Inuit. ‘Two-eyed seeing’ hugely informs my pedagogy.
Some of my hobbies and interests include: seed saving, the NBA, wildlife rehab, Pokemon TCG, thrifting, bird watching and spending time with my family and friends.
We really enjoyed this presentation and will definitely be booking again in the future. It aligns well with curriculum and was age appropriate for our group. Thanks again!
